Fun Fact: Did you know that Carbon Design wasn't the first name of the company?

Carbon celebrated its 4th anniversary earlier this month and as part of that celebration we thought we'd share a little company trivia. In the summer of 2017, Scott and his family were on vacation in the UK. On the way from Cardiff, Wales to Bath, England Scott needed to finish a proposal to meet a deadline for a former client. Pulling into the nearest available hotel off of the M4, Scott finished the proposal, but then realized he had to put a company name on it. Not wanted to have his name associated with the organization, and out of desperation to meet the deadline, he got creative. Using the location, and the name of the hotel, he came up with "Newport Hampton LLC." Yes, he named the company after the Hampton Inn in Newport, Wales. True story.
